Dying Ocean is a wearable dress made of aluminum cans and fishing nets.  

 

Its inspiration come from ocean debris----illegal fishnets, cans, bottles, oil, and styrofoam.

 

Aluminum cans are shaped into beautiful roses to contrast with their initial image of trash.

 

The purpose of Dying Ocean is to reinforce the importance of recycling, to acknowledge the danger of illegal fishnets and ocean pollution, and to give additional value to used cans and fishnets.
